SMITH, Joseph Lindon

Born 11 October 1863, in Pawtucket (Rhode Island); died 1950.

Painter, lithographer. Wall decorations.

Joseph Lindon Smith studied at the Boston School of Art and the Académie Julian in Paris, where he was taught by Boulanger and Lefebvre. He was a member of the American Federation of Arts. He painted murals at Boston library, and one of his works is in the École du Louvre.
