Samuel Jason Mixter

Born in Hardwick, Mass. and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1875 and Harvard Medical School in 1879. From 1879-1881, he lived in Vienna and studied medicine, returning to practice in Boston as a surgeon at various hospitals and to teach at Harvard Medical School.
