found: Saur (Bowers, Georgina, married name Bowers-Edwards; British painter, draftsman, illustrator, caricaturist, author, b. 1836, St. Albans, Herts., d. 1912)

Born in 1835 in London, Georgina Bowers's illustrations began to appear in periodicals and books in the mid-1860s. In 1871, at the grand old age of 35, Bowers married Veterinary Surgeon (specializing in horses) Henry Edwards. After marriage, Bowers blended her professional work as an artist and illustrator with her love of riding and hunting. Bowers’ illustrations appeared in magazines such as Punch, London Society and Once a Week, as well as several books by other authors—notably Dinah Mulock Craik’s illustrated edition of Olive—and she published several books of her own. Bowers’s own books were generally comic, social commentaries that centered around the riding and hunting world with which she had such a great personal familiarity. http://victorianillustrators.com/georginabowers accessed 10/5/2017
