Holker Abbottactive Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts,1858 - 1930

Abbott was a leading member of the Copley Society of Boston (known as the Boston Art Students Association from 1876-1901). He was also a member of the Tavern Club, a dining club for wealthy Bostonians founded in 1884. He was portrayed by Sargent in 1920; the portrait is still owned by the Tavern Club.
