Gabriel de Mun

Benedict Joseph-Bertrand-Marie-Gabriel, Marquis of Mun ( August 12 , 1883 , Lumigny - December 18 , 1952 , Paris ) is a French personality.

Biography

Grandson of Prince Marc de Beauvau-Craon and nephew of Albert de Mun , he obtained his BA degree and graduated as archivist-paleographer from the École des chartes .

During the First World War , he served as a liaison officer with the British Army, head of the French General Staff, and attached to the British General Headquarters.

Member from the very beginning of the Reparations Commission, he is the interallied secretary. He is also the secretary of the Wallenberg Commission.

He presides over the French Red Cross from 1942 to 1944.
