A Lucien Sharpe (sic) was mentioned in the Boston Sunday Globe of 2 April 1922, as having dismantled the Cambridge "Mystery House" at 101 Brattle Street. He is described as a man formely from Providence, RI. https://newspaperarchive.com/boston-sunday-globe-apr-02-1922-p-165/. A short biography from this article reads: "The donor was Lucien Sharpe, formerly of Providence, whose name has lately figured prominently in the news as "the millionaire air tourist," who recently completed an air tour of all the capitals of Europe and then finished an aerial journey through Africa. He was reported to have startled all European aviation officials by flying over Mt. Vesuvius. He is a brother of Henry D. Sharpe of the Sharpe & Brown Manufacturing Company, Providence, part owner of the Providence Journal, the man whom Mary Elizabeth of candy fame surprised her friends by marrying some two years ago."
