Biography:

After (Domenico Barbieri's) death the company's business was continued by his sons, under the name "Heirs of Domenico Barbieri", which after 1680 became the "heir of Domenico Barbieri", it is not known if the death of the co-heirs or for sale of their units. Ceased in 1686. In their activities over thirty years the heirs of B. followed the family tradition and released, both for direct ordering of the authors, both on behalf of other publishers Bolognese - and especially the well-known and very active Francis Danico, said Turrino -, certain editions of high-level typography, today sought after by scholars and bibliophiles.
