[The printer Thomas Davison (1765?-1830) was active from 1794 at Black Horse Alley and from 1799 at Lombard Street, Whitefriars. His death on December 28, 1830 was reported in the newspaper in early 1831 and his name is found on publications which were published after his death, leading subsequent reference sources to inaccurately give his year of death as 1831.]
