Hugh Whitney
Hugh9 Whitney (Henry Austin8, Joseph7, Joseph6, Samuel5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Henry Austin8 and Fanny (Lawrence) Whitney, was born 7 Sep 1870, Milton, MA (recorded at Boston, MA),[1] and died 23 Oct 1907, Beverly, MA, aged 37 years 11 months, of suicide by shooting.[2] He was buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
He married, 20 Oct 1897, Beverly, MA [also recorded in Milton, MA], Eleanor Amelia Marguerite Cecilia Shattuck, of Boston. She was born 22 Nov 1874, Paris, France, daughter of George Brune and Amalia (Shutte)(Lavalle) Shattuck.[3] She married secondly, 17 Nov 1909, Boston, MA, Dr. Elisha Flagg, of Bourne, MA, son of George and Euretta (Lent) Flagg.[4] He was born about 1866, New York, NY.
