James F. McCabe
The Annual Report of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston lists James F. McCabe as the Assistant tot he Superintendent of the Building from 1900-1914. He left the museum in 1914 to take a position at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
At the Cleveland Museum of Art he takes the position of the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, where he worked until 1922, when he resigned to become Superintendent of the Art Institute of Chicago. Mr. McCabe is listed as the Superintendent of Buildings through the 1940's.
