Photographer Henry Franklin Warren was born circa 1834 in Massachusetts, the son of Jonathan and Polly Warren. On 22 November 1870, he married Georgia Ames (born circa 1844), the daughter of John and Hannah Ames. In 1856-1857, he won a photography award at the Industrial Exhibition in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He relocated to Boston in 1858-1859, but in 1860 was back to working as a photographer in Waltham; in 1869 his studio was located in the Central Block. Warren continued his photography career until at least 1874, but in the 1880 census, he listed his occupation as florist and nurseryman. In an 1884 directory, he was listed as a florist. Henry F. Warren passed away on 27 December 1895.
