The writer has spent the past twenty years busily and happily and in complete good health, with Cambridge as his headquarters, and Europe, Mexico, Asia Minor, etc., as his occasional holiday grounds. For seven years he taught at
Harvard, resigning in 1902. Since then he has been busied with literary work, chiefly critical, with excursions into decorative designing. He has written one book, privately printed, and many magazine articles, sometimes anonymous and some times psuedonymous. A bibliography of this kind of work would be difficult and unprofitable.
