Biography:
Castellani Carlo. - Bibliography and philologist (Rome 1822 - Venezia 1897). Director in Milan (1859-64) of the newspaper La Perseverance; then librarian, first at the National Roma; then all'universitaria Bologna (1882-84); Finally the Marciana in Venice. He is the author of several bibliographical works, including the catalog (1895) of the Greek codices of Marciana and the press in Venice from its origins to the death of Aldus the Elder (1889).
