BiographyLucy Allen Paton (1865-1951), medievalist and biographer, graduated from Radcliffe College. She received her A.B. (1892), A.M. (1894), and was one of the first to receive the Ph.D (1902). Among her publications was Elizabeth Cary Agassiz: A Biography (1919), and a number of articles about, and editions of, Arthurian mythology. She taught school (1889-1904) and edited the Radcliffe war reports in the Radcliffe Quarterly, 1917-1919, including a report on the war efforts of every alumna.
